Giulia Raggi and Aude Rapet, kindly sponsored by EUSAAT with a “Young Scientist Travel Award”, will be sharing their contribution to animal replacement in research in this international meeting. Their work, focused on human in vitro lung systems, will be shown in two posters entitled “Recreating a human pulmonary alveolar-capillary barrier on a Lung-on-Chip” and “An in vitro lung-on-chip system to model inflammation of the alveolar-capillary barrier”.
