During this workshop, experts on human in vitro models discuss established and novel systems simulating the human body. Throughout the presentation “Mirroring the alveolus in vitro: clinically-relevant applications of a human breathing alveolus-on-chip”, Giulia Raggi will introduce the AlveoliX lung on chip technology. Later on, she and Andreas Hugi will guide the attendees throughout the user-friendly AX lung on chip system in the hands-on-training.
