For her work in the field of Replacement methodology, the first RE-Place Best Poster award has been awarded to Dr. Nuria Roldan at the EUROTOX 2018 conference. The poster entitled “Acute lung injury on-chip: building a disease predictive model that emulates alveolar biomechanics”, summarizes the development of a model for acute lung injury-on-chip, a project funded by the 3R foundation and the Swiss Lungenliga.
