In this context, Dr. Nuria Roldan will be showing the latest advances on in vitro lung modelling in health and disease together with applications in toxicology. The oral contributions entitled “A lung-on-chip in vitro approach to study inflammation at the alveolar level” and “Investigating the toxicological potential of inhaled aerosols in a breathing lung-on-chip” granted Dr. Roldan a “ERS Young Scientist Sponsorship”.
