Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Technology department in their development activities. This involves study design, cell culture maintenance, conducting and analyzing technical experiments, data analysis, and results filing.
  • Development and optimization of new or existing methods.
  • Documenting experimental protocols and results in alignment with internal SOPs and quality standards.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Biology lab technician apprenticeship or BSc degree in cell biology or life sciences, or equivalent.
  • Profound knowledge and experience in sterile work and cell culture handling.
  • Solid technical understanding and troubleshooting skills for complex technical challenges.
  • Working knowledge of standard molecular and analytical methods, including ELISA, qPCR, microscopy and imaging techniques.
  • Experience with microfluidics, fluid dynamics, and material science is an asset.
  • Previous expertise in an industry or academic laboratory is advantageous.
  • Expertise in the development and cultivation of advanced cell models is a plus.
  • Attention to details, meticulous lab work and documentation capabilities.
  • Experience with standard MS Office software.
  • Basic English skills to communicate with the international team.
  • Strong ability to work independently, rigorously, and responsibly.
  • High degree of motivation, flexibility, and initiative, also willing to work on weekends occasionally.
  • Outstanding team-spirit.
